Happy Thursday! We are just 1.5 days away from the weekend. To celebrate I am gifting you this little piece of viewing pleasure. Now, this post may seem a bit out of the ordinary, but I swear your eyes will thank me later.
I have always been fascinated with photography and while I am usually partial to photography of architecture , portraits are (in my opinion) where the real applause is needed. To capture true emotion from a person in one quick snap is such an accomplishment and photographer Jimmy Nelson does not disappoint.
Bored Panda recently did a feature on a collection of portraits that Mr. Nelson recently released called “The World’s Most Remote Tribes Before They Pass Away.” First of all – who knew there was that many tribes still wandering around the globe? I am blown away with the depth and culture that is literally spilling out of these photographs. There is so much history to these tribes and to see them all in their own environment is quite remarkable.
The collection, which contains over 40 photos, will soon be turned into a book , but why wait for that? Here are some of my favorite shots from various these incredible tribes, but make sure you check out the entire collection here .Pin It
