I must say, I had to double check the calendar this morning because I am pretty sure that it should be Friday…..right? Guess not. I think I just had that much fun this weekend that it flew by way too fast. Well here we are on this Monday morning…..back to the daily grind.
So, this week’s motivation is going to be big. If you haven’t already guessed it from the photo, we are going to be walking into this week with the mindset of ‘think big’ and I am loving this. Why not think big? Isn’t the phrase ‘go big or go home?’ If you think about it there’s no fun in going through life thinking small. I also can’t recall the last time I read a story of success or happiness from a person who wasn’t living life with a big mindset. Now, I am not saying that you have to be rich or own everything in sight in order to be happy/successful. What I am saying is that no matter the goal is for you, there is a way to think and act on this goal; a big way. The think big concept is based on the idea of not selling yourself short, not limiting your ability, and not letting others tell you what you can achieve.
I was even more excited to feature this concept this week when I was browsing my Twitter feed and found this amazing quote from the wonderful The Motivated Type. It says “When someone tells you it can’t be done, it’s more a reflection of their limitations, not yours.” This is such a true statement. Often when people bring doubt or negativity upon others, it is really because they are insecure about their own capability. I am a firm believer in karma and I can promise that doing this will only come back onto you. So why bother with the negative outlook when there is motivation to be spread?
Use today as a means to truly think on a bigger scale. Know that if you want something, there is a way to achieve it.
