So, can I start by saying, I’m full?! Hands down, this was an incredible Thanksgiving holiday, but Lord did I consume a lot of (delicious) food. Diet….here I come!
Speaking of diets, this is the time of year when we all pack on a few extra holiday pounds and then swear that we will shed that extra eight (and more) for the new year. We also start to think about all of the other things we need to do and start building out our resolution list because we all know that 2015 is going to be the year we accomplish everything…. right…
I have decided that this year I am going to make a very realistic resolutions list and I am going to consider it more of a list of goals than a list of wants. How else do you actually accomplish anything? I, just like many other people, am guilty of creating these dream-worthy resolution lists that are so overwhelming, there’s no way we can start them – or finish them for that matter.
So, here’s the challenge: take the next few weeks to compose an honest list of goals that you want to accomplish within the next year. Take your time, consider your highs and lows from the past year, and make sure the goals are realistic to your lifestyle. By the time we all hit New Year’s we should be organized and motivated to tackle 2015 with a vengeance. I’ll be sure to share my list with you all and feel free to share your goals and ideas on preparing for a new year.
Ps: Don’t forget to take advantage of all the Cyber Monday deals! There’s only a few hours left, but here are a few of my favorite shopping deals:
