This week’s Motivational Monday is a pretty important one because it’s the last one for 2013. It’s crazy to even be typing that statement because it validates that this was the fastest year ever. Like most people, I have spent the past week taking in 2013 and have been thinking about everything that the year has brought to my life. Overall this past year has been one mammoth roller coaster ride of some amazing highs and some deep lows. But hey, isn’t that the real definition of life?
When I started to write this week’s Motivational Monday, I immediately realized that it was approximately a year ago when my very first post (also about New Years) was placed onto the blog. This little reminder got me thinking about beginnings. Had I known writing that original post where I would be almost one year later, I would be shocked and actually pretty impressed. I was able to finally take my passion for writing and put it in a place that has helped not only myself, but other people as well. Essentially the beginning of this blog became the beginning of huge chapter in my life.
Looking back at this year and taking a peak into the big 2-0-1-4, I see a lot of beginnings and like this quote says, I think I am going to use them to my advantage. I have begun finding new passions in life, I have begun forming some new relationships, I have even begun tackling head-on a little journey in life that I never expected to have to go through. Regardless of what your beginning may consist of, the imperative thing is that you can identify the starting point and can step up to the plate.
So, if I can use this final 2013 Motivational Monday to tell you anything, it is to use the new year as a beginning. Make this upcoming year a beginning to the life that you really want to live.Pin It
