Good Afternoon and Happy Monday! Can you believe it is April already? I must admit I am relishing in the hint of Spring that’s in the air. Believe it or not Philadelphia has been seeing sunshine and warmer temperatures all weekend. Hopefully Mother Nature isn’t just teasing us and keep this up!
Even with all the excitement of Spring, there is also a bit of worry looming over me the past few weeks. With all of the changes that are quickly approaching in the next 2 months, I feel as though my mind is constantly swimming (or should I say drowning). I am a thinker by nature so when I worry or try to analyze something, I often start over-thinking. Basically, I drive myself (and the people around me) nuts with the “what if’s.” In order to save myself and my friends/family from pure insanity, I have been trying to center my thoughts and have been using the spirit junkie, Gabby Bernstein, to help me.
Gabby recently added this motivational quote to her Instagram and it really resonated with me. The quote is actually from Ram Dass and can relate to both physical and mental sounds that tend to clutter our brains and distract us from finding peace with our own thoughts and struggles. I have used this to acknowledge how my thought patterns can cause more stress within me. So, with that let’s all take some time to quiet our minds today so that we can actually hear our thoughts and embrace them.
