Hello my beauties. So, I know we are already a few days into the month of August, but I wanted to throw a post up on the blog just to bring you a few of my favorite beauty products that I spent the month of July obsessing over. As they say….’better late than never.’ I watch a ton of ‘Favorites’ videos on YouTube and have been inspired to start posting some of my own favorite products for the month. So let’s get into it!
dermHA Hyaluronic Therapeutic Creme: I was recently introduced to the dermHA family through VSN Network and was sent a bunch of products to try out. Well, I am nothing short of thankful for the introduction as I have simply fallen in love with this creme that was sent in the package (a full review on their skincare line is in the works – stay tuned)! This stuff is so incredibly hydrating and has such a smooth delivery onto the skin; I can’t put it down. I get especially dry on my elbows and feet in the summer (thank you strappy sandals) and this treatment has actually saved my dry areas.
Every Beauty Foot Smoother: Listen ladies, I know that you know that we all take quite a beating in the foot department during the summer. Thanks to the effects of heels, wedges, and flat strappy sandals, our feet can look a little rough during the summer months. This is something that a great pedicure can solve, but what if you can’t make it to the salon this week? Don’t worry, Every Beauty’s Foot Smoother has you covered! This thing works actual miracles on your feet. (Thank you Beauty Box 5 for including it in the July box!)
It’s a 10: Miracle Blowdry Volumizer: So, if you don’t know about It’s a 1o products then you absolutely must crawl out from under the rock in which you live. This line has some of the best hair care products out on the market. I am especially fond of the hair treatments, but I recently was introduced to this volumizing spray which I am now addicted to. This stuff gives you tons of volume without leaving that sticky residue behind. Although it is a little pricey, I promise a little will get you a long way. This is a must have product for us East Coast ladies who are battling the humidity all summer long.
Rimmel Kate Moss Collection Lipstick: Let me just say that until about a month ago I never used Rimmel products. Don’t ask me why because there really isn’t much of a reason. Then one day I walked by the Rimmel kiosk in a drugstore, saw a lipstick, bought it, and I haven’t looked back since. In just a month I have purchased a ton of the Rimmel lipsticks and almost all of them belong to the Kate Moss collection. This specific color (109) is such an staple summer color; a vibrant coral with a red base. A must have for any bold lipstick lover.
NYX Retractable Lip Liner: With all of the makeup that I own I can honestly say I have only a handful of lip liners. I don’t know why, but I always feel like I am wasting my money when it comes to liners and therefore, I don’t buy many of them. I guess I would rather spend my money on a million and one lipsticks/glosses rather than buying the liner to use with them. However, liner is often necessary and I have found a resolution: the NYX Retractable Lip Liner. I purchased the liner in the color Nude and have found that this shade works with a ton of my lipsticks including some of my darker shades. If like me you are only interested in having a few (or even one) liner in your collection, this should be it.
Pur Minerals 4-in-1 Makeup Foundation: Of all the products that I have fallen in love with this month, this pressed mineral foundation from Pur Minerals is my favorite. I was never a fan of mineral makeup in the past, but this product has changed my entire outlook on the world of minerals. I can use this product without any foundation under it and achieve a look that is just as flawless if not better! It is super lightweight in how it wears, yet gives you full coverage. It is also incredibly easy on my (sensitive & oily) skin which I love because I can wear this all day without worrying about breakouts and clogged pores.
