Well hello there and welcome back! So, I know that I said I was going to be posting on the blog while I was away these past few days, but unfortunately the (stunning) resort we stayed at had zero service. When I say zero, I mean nothing; not even a Wi-Fi connection. Initially I was pretty heartbroken by not being able to connect much via text or on any social media, but I have to say, by day two it was pretty damn refreshing. If there is anything that can force people to be in the moment and to enjoy the company of those around them, it’s having no cell service.
This picture right here pretty much sums up the past four days for me. I spent as much time in the sun as possible (although the heat was quite intense) and took advantage of all the pools the resort had to offer. There was food and booze and lots of relaxation. I couldn’t be more grateful for the time I spent outside of reality.
It was a bitter sweet return home. While I am confident that I could vacation for months on end without being homesick, we did come back to a great home that is ready to be furnished. Stay tuned as there will be lots of interior design inspired posts coming up on the blog!
P.S. What do you all think of the new layout so far? I am still working on some additional features, but hopefully you are all enjoying the more contemporary look thus far.Pin It
