Welcome to my first holiday gift guide of the season! I genuinely love creating these guides because they give both you (my readers) and me ideas for holiday shopping. I have found that the older I get, the more I look forward to finding meaningful gifts that my friends and family will actually enjoy and get good use out of.
This year I decided to switch things up a bit. Rather than building a gift guide centered around ‘him’ or ‘her,’ I wanted to create gift guides that cater to people’s passions. Whether it be beauty, working out, cooking, or snuggling on the couch for a movie, I want there to be gift options for all the things your favorite people love.
The first gift guide is going to (appropriately) be for the beauty junkies in your life. In the event you do not know what a beauty junkie looks like, just scroll through my blog and you’ll figure it out. This was, of course, the easiest guide for me to create since I want (or have) each item on the list. When it comes to beauty there is a pleothra of items you can buy. From hair care to makeup to skincare, there is something out there for everyone. Cosmetic brands have been putting on the pressure by releasing a ton of holiday gift sets. There are so many out there that it can be hard to choose, but they are all priced perfectly and give you a variety of product.
When it comes to gift giving, skincare can be intimidating territory. Unless you know the person well enough to have their skin type down, you can easily purchase the wrong products. For this reason, I like to stick to scrubs, lotions, lip balms, and masks. I look for products that cater to various skin types and that are hypoallergenic. Also, focus on soft scents that won’t overwhelm the person. Most importantly, be sure to purchase products from places like Sephora who have incredible return policies.
Personally, I have been really into hair care the past few months so when building my own wish list for the holidays, I have added a lot of hair products. The holidays are such a great way to get yourself a new blow dryer or a pricey hair mask that you wouldn’t normally treat yourself to. There are also a ton of deals on gift sets that will allow you to spoil your fellow hair obsessed friends without killing your holiday budget.Pin It
