When it comes to finding a place to stay in Amsterdam, I swear by Airbnb. I am sure there a lot of wonderful hotels to put down your bags and rest your head, but there are far too many charming apartments sprawling across the city to not indulge in. In a city like this, you get more for your money when you stay in one of these remarkable spaces.
When in Amsterdam, we stayed at the most amazing Airbnb which was owned by quite possibly my favorite host we have ever met. While our stay was a bit outside the city center, it was spacious, modern, and so damn comfortable (that means a lot when you have just spent 4 nights in Paris on the hardest pull-out couch ever made.) For this list, I tightened up on location while keeping budget and comfort in mind.

This stylish space is perfect for those who want a little room to spread out & a perfectly arranged kitchen to cook in. Sitting in a quiet neighborhood right next to De Pijp (a really amazing neighborhood of Amsterdam), this flat is chic and comfortable. Sleeps two people and comes in at just $90/night.
This adorable two-level apartment scream ‘perfect location.’ Whether you are looking to tour a museum during the day or dive into the nightlife in the late evening, this place puts you in the middle of it all. Somehow this gem sleeps 4 people and is only $97/night (like, what??).
Not to be biased or anything, but I am literally drooling over the details in this stunning loft. Exposed brick, wood beams, and antique finishes – honestly this is an interior dream. This space is also perfectly situated in the city centre. The loft does sit on the top floor of a 3-story building so get ready to climb some stairs, but with 28 pages of rave reviews, this spot is worth every step. Sleeps 2 people and is $113/night.
When they say that big things come in small packages, they are talking about this adorable studio in the heart of Jordaan (one of the best spots in Amsterdam.) By saving on space, you cam immerse yourself in the best restaurants, coffee shops, and even the Anne Frank Haus – which is right by the studio. For $91/night, two people can enjoy this city center gem.
Honestly, I am not sure how this apartment even exists. It’s a 2 bedroom in a prime location with massive windows (hello light) and a spacious rooftop terrace. All yours for only $120/night. You are next to everything you want from Amsterdam and have plenty of room to move around and cook your own meals which saves on costs. Oddly, this place does have a 7-night minimum stay, but once you see this place, you’ll probably just end up moving in!
